my chemical romance

in a timid whisper
she speaks my name
hushed velvet voice..
she caresses me
leaving a trail
of longing
behind my ear
down the nape of my neck
each hair stands on end
with the reminiscence
of her touch
my heart aches
as i pull away
reluctantly
refusing to
meet her gaze
i avoid her eyes
as i know.. she knows
the very scent of her
will resurrect within me
the dance of death
and i have yet,,
to learn to walk
with life….

Nicely done, again. I guess the key is to avoid and resist her at ever corner. Hopefully we can all do that.

a nice poem but a bad road. a very bad road. all the disasters on my particular version of that road and odds are almost certainly that it’ll kill me one day. (of course i don’t believe it will, but do we ever really, unless we’re literally at the end of our line?) hard to get excited about oreos and re-runs when you know about something that’s really good.
